if you are going to use your EE 4G SIM card in a 4G modem or 4G router then you will need to enter your APN (Access Point Name) settings into the device configuration in order for the modem or router to successfully connect to the 4G network.
To the best of our knowledge there are currently only two APN settings available for EE 4G SIM cards and they are :-
APN : consumerbroadband
or
APN : everywhere
Neither of these APN’s require a user name or password so we recommend that when configuring your device only change the APN setting and do not change any other settings and if there is a user name and password already stored in your device then delete these.
These EE APN settings for your 4G SIM acrd should enable you to get connected to the EE 4G Network and start enjoying super fast 4G mobile broadband.
If you need a router then we recommend the Proroute 4G Routers – do a quick search on google and you will find them – they are reliable, easy to configure and use and competitively priced and are available in the UK with technical support also based in the UK.
