EE Unveils 4G Harrier Tablet

EE has released the latest addition to the Harrier family of devices – the Harrier Tab – which is now available from EE stores and the EE online shop. The new 4G tablet joins the Harrier 4G smartphone and Harrier Mini smartphone which were launched earlier in the year.

Harrier 4G family from EE

The 4G Harrier Tab is the latest device from EE’s own brand product range and follows the network’s first own brand tablet, the Eagle. EE’s aim is to provide a high spec 4G tablet at an affordable price.

Specifications of the 4G Harrier Tab

Similar in style to the two Harrier 4G smartphones, the lightweight tablet measures 212.8 x 124 x 8.5mm and weighs 338g. It has 2GB RAM, 16GB internal memory, and a Micro SD card slot for additional memory. It features an 8MP main camera along with a 2MP selfie camera, and an 8 inch full HD screen which is ideal for watching video.

The Harrier Tab runs on the latest Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system and has a powerful Octa-core 1.5GHz 64Bit Qualcomm processor. The large 4,650mAh battery means it is a highly portable device and can be used on the move as easily as on the sofa at home. As it is CAT 4 enabled Harrier Tab users have the ability to access the EE Double Speed 4G network, which can offer real world download speeds of 150Mbps.

According to the EE website, “Harrier Tab is an ideal tablet for work or downtime. It’s got all the specs you’d expect to find on a leading branded tablet – like a superfast 8 core processor, full HD display and stylish slim design – but comes at a price that doesn’t break the bank. And because it’s 4G ready, you can get online in more places than ever before, thanks to the UK’s biggest and fastest network. Running on the very latest Android Lollipop OS, it’s fully compatible with PCs and Macs. A great tablet, at a great price.”

Cost of the 4G Harrier Tab

The Harrier Tab is available on pay as you go for £199.99 which includes 6GB data valid for 90 days. It is also available on 24 month data plans which include:

Sharon Meadows, Director of Devices at EE, says “Like its smaller siblings, we’ve made sure the Harrier Tab features an impressive spec at an easily affordable price point for consumers and businesses alike. When paired with our superfast 4G network, it really does offer one of the best tablet experiences on the market and is the ideal device for work, study or downtime.”
